What We Believe

Regarding Scripture

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant, written revelation of God, complete & sufficient. We believe the Scriptures to be inspired by God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16 2 Peter 1:21) We affirm that they are completely authoritative in and of themselves. They rely for their authority upon no church, council, or creed.

Regarding God

There is only one eternal, almighty and perfect God. Within the Being of this one true God exist three eternally distinct and coequal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three Persons are the one true God. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).

We believe God is the Creator of all that exists in heaven and in earth. God has all power, all knowledge, all wisdom, and is due all glory, honor and praise.

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and only way to the Father (John 14L:6), who took upon Himself human flesh through the miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit in the womb and born of the Virgin Mary.(Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34,35) He who is true God became true man, uniting two natures in one person forever. Christ lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26), died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), rose bodily from the dead (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4), and His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven(Mark 16:19) where He now serves as our High Priest, our only Mediator (1Timothy 2:5). He will return bodily and visibly to the earth as King of kings and will judge every human being who has ever lived (Revelations 19;11-16, Mathew 25:31-46).

Regarding Atonement of Sin

We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man rebelled against His Creator, fell into sin and therefore in need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation. Upon belief, all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16–19; 5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8,9; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5) so that no man can boast.

No other work can provide for forgiveness of sins, and no addition can be made to the completed and finished work of Christ.

God through Jesus is our redeemer and in so doing brings glory to Himself (John 12:27-28)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15).

Regarding The Church & Evangelism

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12,13; Galatians 3:26–28).

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13,14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19,20; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).

We believe that as Christians we are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (1 John 4:16,17).

We believe it is the mandate of the whole Church to go into the whole world and preach the gospel to every living creature (Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15).

We believe that God desires the local ecclesia continually be coming together ( Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Hebrews 10:25), and that they be working together to equip, edify, comfort, pray for each other, provoke to circumspect living,(Zephaniah 1:7-18; 2 Peter 3:10-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Romans 14;19) to serve God together, to gather and worship the Lord (Romans 12:9-13) and then go out , stand for righteousness, win the lost for Jesus Christ and practice pure , undefiled religion by loving widows and orphans in their affliction (James 1:27).
